Recent IKONOS images of Hong Kong: A strip of three scenes covering Hong Kong was collected by IKONOS satellite
on 2007-12-28. They are available from Geocarto International Centre,
authorized reseller in Hong Kong.

Recent SPOT-4 image of Hong Kong: A full scene covering Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was collected by
SPOT-4 satellite on 2007-11-14. This natural colour image was processed by
Geocarto International Centre.

"The Pearl River Delta from Space" project is available for viewing here. It features (a) a fly-through produced with the SpaceEyes3D software, (b) a Landsat-7 fusion colour mosaic of 15-m resolution created from bands 1,2,3 for sea and bands 2,4,5 for land, (c) an IRS-P6 fusion colour image of 5.8-m resolution, and (d) four OrbView-3 panhcromatic images of 1-m resolution.

The latest cloud-free 15-m resolution Landsat-7 image of
the Pearl River Estuary was acquired on 2004-11-28. This image
is a quarter scene. A full scene covering 185km x 170km is
available from Geocarto International Centre.

reseller page. QuickBird satellite collects images which
have the highest resolution commercially available (61 cm for
panchromatic data and 2.44 m for multispectral data).

International Centre |
| Geocarto International Centre (GIC) was established
in 1985 in Hong Kong to promote multi-disciplinary research in
and applications of Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoscience, and Cartography
through (1) publication of scientific and professional
periodicals, books, images, and maps; (2) distribution
services for publishers of these subjects, (3) organization
of exhibitions on Remote Sensing & GIS, (4) marketing
of satellite data (digital and photographic products) and image
processing software for research projects and practical applications,
and (5) provision of technical advice and image processing
services to customers in the application of Remote Sensing technologies.
GIC is the only organization in Asia that performs such an integrated
function in promoting Remote Sensing technologies. Its quarterly
journal, Geocarto International, has publicized
several commercial earth observation satellites by publishing
special issues, such as SPOT (Vol. 1, No. 3, 1986), Landsat
TM (Vol. 5, No. 1, 1990), RADARSAT (Vol. 10, No. 3,
1995), and ADEOS (Vol. 12, No. 4, 1997).
